dude....seriously. i'm not the only guy you have pissed off. see the problem with the internet is, noteveryone is going to know when you are joking or not. It is especially true when you write shit and dont take ownership of it. Its like you dont have the courage to stand behind your words. That is how you are being perceived here....a sniveling little coward. Your goal in life may not be to make friends, lord know i have got enough myself. Hell, your thing may be to 'stir the pot'. If that is your thing, great, none of my business. The great thing about 'cross' though, is the atmosphere and the comraderie before, during and after the races between friends and competitors. All you are managing to do is make enemies and alienate yourself from a bunch of good guys by not standing up and putting your name on something you started and wrote. Most of the guys who have written in to your site dont know who you are and that you were joking. I sure as hell didnt take itas a joke, cuz i dont know you from adam, hey but if that's your thing?.......Again, if you dont care, so be it...
The Slimen team has morphed a few times over the course of many years here in the KC area. Starting with the original members helping bring the 2000 U.S. Cyclocross Championships to Overland Park a decade ago. Just a couple of years ago the Slimen name was brought out of the ashes to its current roster after a 2 year hiatus. SlimenUndGrossen is a play on words to sound like its Flemish(i.e. Belgium). The idea of this in it's original holds true today with a group of guys racing and riding together because of their love of cyclocross. While we are drawn to 'cross' and the Belgian history, you will find the Slimen colors at regional road and mtb races as well. So join us on our teams' journey when we try mixing wives, children and careers while racing self-propelled 2 wheeled machines.........
2010 SlimenUndGrossen racing Roster
*David Pitt: cat 3 Road, cat 3 cx, Expert Mtb
*Jacob Pitt: Junior racer, cx and mtb
*Tyler Henson: cat 3 Road, cat 3 cx, cat 2 mtb
*Joe Houston: cat 4 road, cat 3 cx, sport mtb(clydesdale??)
